Going to a Thai Restuarant tonight, what shall i have?!

Question:

Going to a Thai Restuarant tonight, what shall i have?

Answers:
Most definitely get Phad Thai - noodles with chicken or prawn stir-fried with veg and coriander, chilli, eggs and fish sauce and sprinkled with crushed peanuts and a squeeze of lime. Oh man it's so good! If I hadn't just eaten my lunch I'd go out and buy some now!

Green curry is also pretty damn awesome but Phad Thai is like -BOOM!- in your mouth. *drools*

I'm considered something of an epicure in certain sophistimacated and highly influential circles, don'tcherknow. funar funar

Green Thai Curry without a doubt - my favourite!

get the ooey goooey disgusting thing thats cheap!! eat at an american resturant, fool

Funny how some people are so closed minded. I hate it when people refuse to try new things and say its gross without even knowing what the taste is like. Anyways I would probably go with orange duck. I love it. When I go I always ask the Thai Waiters what they suggest, they know more about their own cuisine then I ever would. good luck

Just stay away from anything that says hot or spicy!
This guys are crazy about hot and their food can be super hot!
their rice is great and I personally like the way they make their pork with fruits

I would go for a Tom Yam soup to start (it's nice and spicy. and even nicer with coconut milk, i think that's called Tom Kha) and then a red curry.... mmm!

well, as a cuisine lovers... im quite foreign to the names in Thai.
but I do love the sounds of it...example, pak pung fai deng... its a simple dish of stir fried water glory with a little chili but then again if its an open kitchen you will be amaze to the frying of this vegetable dish. Ahem... I try to use words to describe the flamboyant style of cooking. They would to put the vegetable on a plate such as water glory, onion, yellowbean paste, chili and seasoning on one side and really heat up a super hot wok of oil then throw the vegetable into the wok and as the flame burst out... sure looks like phoenix's wings spreading out into the open.
Anyway, what I would suggest is clear tomyam seafood soup . Thats the best category for tomyam soup as its the healthiest of them all. Try also the Thai fish cake "Thod Man Pla" or the Thai steam fish cake "Hor Mor Thalay"...juicy. Deep fried Water Glory if they have. A Shrimp paste fried rice for a change rather than the typical pineapple fried rice. and closing with a mango glutinous rice dessert or a pinky water chestnut on shave ice in coconut juice dessert. Just remember to be daring to try and also ask for suggestion from the waiter. Its gonna be a spicy dinner and I would to suggest after taking a meal... and if its too spicy for the tongue.
take a teaspoon full of sugar and put it in your mouth. let is sit there and slow dilute... it would to help reduce the flamy suffering alittle bit.

Shanghai Noodles, Pinapple Fried Rice, and a beef dish of some kind.
That's what I always order.

Thai chicken curry, hot and sour shrimp and steamed rice.

It's ALL good!

Red or Green Curry is a staple, a little bit mainstream but oh-so-good!

Ask what the house special is ...

Get some mixed starters too.. Always awesome.

anything!

drunken noodles, pad thai, or green curry...wash it down with Thai iced tea.

Phad Thai is a great choice, usually it is served with your choice of meat, chicken, beef or pork, or no meat if you prefer.
If you like coconut, my absolute favorite Thai dish is Mossaman with chicken. Its served almost like a gravy that you spoon over rice!
Enjoy your dinner, I might have to get Thai tonight now too! :)

Pad Thai

I love eating sweet basil fried rice, and pad thai.

start with Tom Yam Kung ,followed by Some Pad thai or better Some white rice and some Gaeng massaman.,thats beef curry.

Watever else you get, make sure you have green mango salad. It's fantastic.
