In general do you like Chinese food better or Thai food?!

Question:

In general do you like Chinese food better or Thai food?

i like thai food better, but i still like chinese among other cuisines.

Answers:
Here in New Hampshire, Thai Food is better because the Chinese food is so overly Americanized it all tastes the same. When I lived in San Francisco, I could find a great variety of Chinese cuisine. I like them both, generally, but I like the food of southern China better than northern style.

I prefer Thai

Thai food, especially when basil leaves are used. Nice aroma.

Yes, I like Chinese food, but it is very americanized and not very authentic or ethnic anymore. I'm sure our Thai food is, but even the americanized version of Thai is more exotic than the Chinese food we have, probably due to the ingredients - fish sauce, coconut milk, curry, etc. Chinese food has soy sauce, which is not too exotic for most of us. I'm sure I'm omitting a lot about real Chinese food (like, from China not from America) which I have yet to experience, but because of what we have here, I gravitate towards the Thai food.

It's actually not that difficult to cook, either. I've made Pad Thai, curries, and papaya salads at home with quite a good result due to the simplicity and clean flavors the Thais use in their cooking.

depends which country you are in. I love Aussie Chinese I don't like Chinese Chinese or Philippine Chinese. I don't like hot food and most Thai is really hot.. but I like there non spicy variety

Thai

Thai is more subtle.

Authentic Chinese food, NO MSG!!!! Homemade is the best! (My dad is a good cook, I can cook too!)

Authentic Thai food is good too, once in a while.

thai gives me a bigger hot punch and variety than chinese but like you i still love chinese too.

Real Thai food tastes more Chinese. Pad thai isn't really a meal in Thailand. Only foreigners eat pad thai. But I like Thai food in America the best, I'm more accustomed to it, except it's not spicy enough.

thai because i love the thai variety of chili sauces and their thai ice tea when made with real thai tea is kick ***.
