Different brands of sausage roll taste different to others, right?!

Question:

Different brands of sausage roll taste different to others, right?

Personally I love Sainsbury's own brand sausage rolls the best. I totally avoid other brands of sausage roll such as Pork Farms, which I think are horrid.
My girlfriend says all sausage rolls are the same; I have to disagree...
...what do you think?

Answers:
All different - Your girlfriend obviously isn't a sausage connoisseur like yourself!

You're right - the world of sausage rolls is a complex one. My personal favourite is from Marks & Spencers.......

Yes they all have a slight difference, dependent on how muh herbs/meat/fat etc are in them.
I personally love Ginsters sausage rolls.

We always get ours from a local butchers and they are far superior to anything from the supermarkets.Made on the premises and just perfect every time

They are really different - your girlfriend cant have any taste buds.

Gregs the bakers beat Asda's anyday.

Not allowed to eat pork.

The pork is probably similar but the added herbs and spices make different makes have individual tastes. Some add onion or garlic which can completely change the flavour.I prefer just plain good sausage meat, pork,in a flaky pastry with no added flavours.

No they dont taste the same (I think), it depends on the quality of meat they use..

Many people say the linder McCartney's vegetarian sausage rolls are the nicest you can by!

They all use more or less seasoning - more or less meaty sausage - and perhaps some use meat that is mixed - pork and beef together therefore anathema to both Hindus and Muslim folk alike with respect to both
Sausage rolls are likely best from M&S , but then it is a matter of taste.
I think I would likely make them myself - Using the flaky pastry I buy from Asda and Richmond skinless sausages

yes they are all made to different recipees. I like Sainsburies too/

yeah they are all different. you definately get what you pay for! like you say though pork farm sausage rolls are full of rubbish and taste like crap
