will someone explain me that milk is a veg product or non-veg product.

So yes, you can drink milk and be vegetarian.

However, many vegetarians turn away from milk because drinking milk makes you directly responsible for the death of millions of bull calves, the mistreatment of cows, hormone injections, bribe feeding, death at 7 years old etc.

I live in the middle of it, its not a good industry to see first hand.

Milk is a vegetarian product, but it's not a vegan product. Vegans do not eat any products from animal sources, including by-products like milk, eggs and honey.
