Is my yogurt bad?!

Question:

Is my yogurt bad?

My Vanilla Soneyfield Farm Organic yogurt always seems to have some seperation and is a bit lumpy. It spells find, and I don't see any funny colors, but the lumps worry me. Is this natural? Maybe the vanilla flavoring seperating out or something?

Thanks

how old is it ?

All you have to do to yogurt is give it a good stir. There is nothing wrong with it.

Lumps should not be in yogurt, especially when its organic, when it organic it is smoother.. maybe try opening a few more and see if they are all lumpy or if you just got a bad one by chance.

I think it's fine!

Organic yogurt is going to have a little bit of separation. It's nothing that should concern you.

As far as the lumps go, it's *probably* nothing, especially if it tastes fine, and isn't past the expiration date.

It's fine, just read the label for expiration date. My yogurt is always like that and it's fine. It's probably just the brand.

DAIRY PRODUCTS
Milk is spoiled when it starts to look like yogurt. Yogurt is spoiled
when it starts to look like cottage cheese. Cottage cheese is spoiled
when it starts to look like regular cheese. Regular cheese is nothing
but spoiled milk anyway and can't get any more spoiled than it is
already. Cheddar cheese is spoiled when you think it is blue cheese but
you realize you've never purchased that kind.

I think it's good. It's like sour cream, tho... kind of hard to spot spoilage or souring in it unless it has black splotches too.

if its not past the exp.date just mix it and its fine
