Can vegetarians do windowpane acid?!

Question:

Can vegetarians do windowpane acid?

I just found out about what gelatin is made of. Does it mean I'm actually not a vegetarian since I do windowpane? Do they make that out of animal derived gelatin?

Answers:
actually gel tabs are made from vegetable based glycerine's these days, drop a tab for me i haven't run across any in years

I've never really thought about it. I'm not sure how they make gel tabs...hmmm, I guess it could be from gelatin...interesting.
The only way to make geletin is from animal parts, so if it's made from gelatin then you are eating animal parts.

It's ok if you didn't know about it. Lots of new vegetarians eat gelatin without realizing what it's made of. Just find some acid on blotter paper.

I can't believe you would be smart enough to not pollute your body with animal products and/or contribute to the harming of animals and yet would be dumb enough to continue to pollute your BODY with drugs and/or contribute to the harming of YOURSELF. Do you seriously care more about animals than you do yourself? There is nothing noble in that, if you ask me.

To answer your question, yes, windowpane is a gelatin base so if you "do" it you are directly supporting an industry that hurts animals and are consuming animal parts.

Yes. While the reflection you have put into the treatment of animals in making your dietary choice is commendable, the desire for a chemically induced buzz must over ride all other concerns.

Besides, surely eating acid is better for you than eating at McDonald's

In all honesty, however, I have no idea what they use to make windowpane. How about swithing to mescaline or mushrooms?

Before, when you didn't know about it it was fine because you had no idea, But now that you know you should quit eating it because it is made of animal parts and animals are still being harmed in the process.
