What are some good low calorie foods or snacks that are filling?
Answers:
96% fat free kettle corn that you can buy at the grocery store. It's really good and the whole bag is a little over 100 calories
Oatmeal
Whole wheat crackers
Whole grain or fiber cereal
fruit such as grapes, apples, etc....
A piece of whole grain bread with peanut butter
Anything with fiber is going to fill you up.
Rice Cakes are good snacks- low cal- low fat- and different flavors too..
Well only recently i found out one of my favourite fruits are filled with sugar- Bananas! 27.5 % of your daily intake of sugar, so i stopped having 2-3 of them a day so now i eat rice cakes, raw carrots and baby corn!
I really like the 100 calorie bags of popcorn. I get the orville redenbocker kettle corn. VERY good (or get the regular if you're not a kettle corn fan)! only 100 calories and quite filling. also im a big fan of soda but won't let myself have it b/c of all the calories. I did find cherry coke zero (i think they have vanilla and regular too) and when i pair that w/the popcorn i stay full all afternoon.
Slice of ham, tablespoon of light miracle whip, lettuce, on a piece of bread.

apples, pears, peaches, oranges are all great.. bananas are good, if they are small to medium sized (and dont have more than 1 a day because they block you up).
vegetables like corn, celery, baby carrots are a great snack.
a low butter, low salt popcorn.
a bunch of almonds are a terrific snack.
some low fat yogurt with the fruit on the bottom.
and if you want to be really picky about you eat, im sure you can look online and cook some great foods/snacks yourself, and prepare your own stuff, that way you know exactly what you are eating.
