Skodas really are full of lovely stuff and are made entirely from confectionery products. That is how they fulfil their part of the anti-corrosion warranty and indeed EU emissions guidance. There was an outcry from workers several years ago when VW accountants wished to replace the marzipan headlamps with yellow icing, and the liquorice fan belt was phased out in 1978 due to Eastern Bloc import restrictions, only to be reintroduced in 1983 when the jam sponge carburettors began burning.
Other manufacturers tried to follow suit- indeed all logos and insignia on the 1987 Mitsubishi Colt are made entirely from jelly diamonds.
it was just a one off i'm afraid and if they did and they were all that size i dread to think how much it would cost!
there's a documentary of how they made it here...

I wish there was!
As far as i remember SKODA always made some cheap kind of Car........
Skoda is a car company, the advert on t.v is misleading though!
that advert is just brilliant. imagine 20 years ago skoda doing something like that!
He he,funny! Did you know it cost around £80,000 to make that Skoda cake?!
I wish there was, I'm saving up for one of them skoda's right now !
yes i am going to buy one and dive right in !!
no, it is just a silly advert
No dear, Skoda used to make cars but they were crap.
I'd love it if skoda made cakes it would be cool to eat mini skoda car cakes but really Skoda don't make cakes and the giant cake car was only made to advertise a new car being bought out i'm sure like all of the other cars Skoda have made it will be a quality car and last well
no i live in australia & have never heard of that cake but i rarey buy cakes anyway but hubby is cake mad he would know if they are here in oz but he's at work & i cant ask him haha but i like popcorn peanuts etc & yes chocolates as well but savoury food best
