How long is safe to drink water from an open plastic bottle in the fridge?!

Question:

How long is safe to drink water from an open plastic bottle in the fridge?

I mean, there are some bacterias or micro-organisms that developed on the bottle cover once you take water from it and then keep it back?
If I drink a little, then until when it's safe to drink again, one week, one month, one year? or only drink once and then throw it!

Answers:
I'd wash it around once a week; the backwash can get ikky and grow lots of babies!
.

I hope a long, long time, because I leave water bottles around my room and never wash them, just refill them.
I'm alive though.
So I guess it's ok.

its always safe..if its bottled water, it means its mineral water which has no perservatives..

yeah or get a water purifier and they r only about 15 bucks good luck

You should not keep a bottle in the fridge without a cover you can send bacteria into the water that was once safe to drink. Try to put everything into bottles with lids, and keeps meats and other items in bowls that are covered. Dont forget to change your box of baking soda to absorb the oders

Smell it first. Water should not have any distinct smell to it, so if you smell anything it is probably not a good idea to drink it. If it does smell, it probably wont kill you, but it could make you sick.

Is the KEY word safe??
AND this is a lottery
5years 8 months 15 days.
Otherwise,,, fools and their money are soon parted.

seal the container amigo and you can drink it indefinately
leave it open and all them nasty smells fromdat frig will get in that water and make it all funky.

I personally will not keep bottled water more than 3 day's,the reason being is once opened, the air and bacteria will be present,so I dispose after that.I use the health and safety principles with food.better safe than sorry.once opened,it will go off.like anything else.
