the drink was not a shot, in a tall glass w/ ice -- none of answers sounded right, I've already researched it via drink recipes on internet sites they recommend.... arrgh! thanks anyway guys.

Cactus Cooler Cocktail Recipe
Category: Shots

Ingredients : - 3/4 oz orange liqueur (cointreau, grand marnier...)
- 3/4 oz vodka (mandrin)
- 8 oz energy drink (red bull,battery,gatorade...)

Use a "In glass" for Cactus Cooler drink recipe

Fill a shot glass half with triple sec, half mandarin vodka, then drop into a pint glass half-filled with Rockstar energy drink, and serve.
Serve in "Beer Mug " Garnish: No
Ingredients: orange liqueur (cointreau, grand marnier...). vodka (mandrin). energy drink (red bull,battery,gatorade...).

Here's the recipe I found:

1 shot Parrot Bay Rum
1/2 shot Midori
fill pineapple juice


A tasty treat either frozen, on the rocks, or even as a shooter. Mix shot of rum, with Midori, then fill the rest with pineapple juice. Garnish with a pineapple and drink it up!

I have several Cactus "XXX" recipes they call tequila as the main liquor
one has Schnapps another Gallino
I am sure any thing Goes.

3/4 oz mandarin vodka
