proven

eat bread or drink milk.
bread is best though.

The burn in your mouth is caused by oils from spicy food, the oils are a base so you need something acidic.Any kind of alcohol is probably the best possible solution if your over 21,if not then lemon juice or vinagar.

try
milk
cucumber
saltine crackers
just not water it makes it
worse.....been there.

Yep
Nothing
Milk
Nothing
It does go away.
Join with me to protest hot spices
they know the chemical why not a spray to kill it???

Drink milk or rinse your mouth with vodka....turst me it works!

Drink milk and eat plain bread w/ the milk.

Milk. But don't swallow it. Swish and spit.

Once capsaicin gets into your tastebuds, it's very difficult to get out. Bread doesn't do the job, because it doesn't cover the entire surface of the tongue.

Water doesn't work because capsaicin is alcohol soluble, not water soluble.

Beer doesn't work because it's still mostly water.

Strong liquor can take the capsaicin heat away, but it would just replace it with it's own burn.

milk and bread is good....or simply any dairy product....sounds kinda nasty because you have this spicy food taste in your mouth but yogurt works great!

drink a heavily-sugared can of pop or just brush your teeth

don't drink pops....they make it 10 times worse!!!

drink milk, or chew on a cracker or a peice of bread

Drink milk!

the burn is from the oils of the peppers so water will not help, you need to eat a cracker or a piece of bread, it will soak up the oils off your tongue and you will feel better

Eat yogurt. This is practiced in many cultures that eat lots of spicy foods.
