Does flour have an experation date?!

Question:

Does flour have an experation date?

Answers:
I would throw out every 6 months.it can get weevils in it,a little black bug....

no expired dates

but the bug, insects will climb in the flour if you stop using

them for a year.

No expiration date, but if not kept in an air-tight container or zip-loc bag it will pick up strange odors and tastes from the things stored around it.

Everything does.

I'm not sure if it's printed on any packaging, but it should easily last 6-8 months if stored properly (moderate to cool temp, dark, dry, airtight container).

It has no noted experation date but yes it can get those little black bugs... air tight containers and zip lock bags only work so far.... to have the best results for fresh flour keep it in the refrigerator in a air tight jar... this will give your food the best flavor..
