Will storing the bread in the fridge keep it from getting moldy?

Keeping bread in the refrigerator does keep it from spoiling as quickly. I keep my bread in the refrigerator year round and I can usually use it for several days after the expiration date.

I had never had bread in the fridge until I got married and my wife keeps it in there and it does last longer but it still molds

it won't get moldy as fast as it would if you didn't keep it in the fridge

I was always store it in the fridge or freezer. When its in the freezer, I use it when I need it. Preferably to toast though.

It is not best to store it in the fridge. It will slow down the process of molding, but will make the bread stale faster. It is better to freeze the bread... that will prevent mold altogether and keep it from going stale as fast. Thaw what you need and enjoy!

Another option is to keep it in the microwave. It's sealed off and drier than the kitchen overall on humid days. It might not extend life as long as the refrigerator might, but it certainly does help keep it from going stale/moldy longer than just keeping it on the counter. Plus, it's not all cold when you want to eat some.

yes that's what a lot of people do, the firde takes out moisture in the air, so yes this would work
may I come and help you put it in
your so cute
