Question:

What's a good iced coffee recipe?

What ingredients do I need to get? How do I make it? Thanks

Answers:
This is how I make my own at home.

1 cup coffee
2 tablespoon of Nestle Quick
1/4 cup milk
Pour over Ice

CINNAMON ICED COFFEE

2 cups Milk
1/2 cup Cream
2 tsp. Instant Coffee
1 tbsp. sugar
3 Ice cubes
Dash of cinnamon

Mix the above in a blender for 30 seconds or so, pour into cups, top it off with a scoop of whip cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.Serve and enjoy

CONTINENTAL ICED COFFEE

2 tbsp. instant coffee
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. water
4 c. cold milk
2 tbsp. cold fudge topping for ice cream
Few drops peppermint extract
1/2 c. whipping cream

Dissolve instant coffee and sugar in water. Add milk and peppermint extract. Cover and keep chilled until serving time. Whip cream in a chilled bowl with chilled beaters until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in topping just until swirled through whipped cream to give a marbled pattern. Serve a dollop of fudge marbled whipped cream over each cup of iced coffee. Makes 6 (6 ounce) servings.

Coffee.
Ice.
Cup.
Straw.

Just brew your favorite coffee double strength- so twice the amount of coffee than you would normally- then fill a pitcher half with the coffee and the rest with ice. Voila, iced coffee!

If you're looking for something sweeter/flavoured:

*any granualted sugar/artificial sweetners should be added into the hot coffee itself, otherwise dissolved in a little bit of hot water/coffee before adding to the iced coffee.

*grocery stores sell flavoured syrups that you can add. You could also used chocolate syrup with some cream inside and whipped cream on top. Flavoured creamers would be an easy addition too.

*If you're a starbucks fan, they also sell their syrups for about $7/bottle. In fact, I believe they are actually selling iced coffee kits in some locations.

I make espresso. Add a bit of sugar and chill. When I am ready to drink it I put it in a chilled cup. I top it with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon. It's delicious. Good luck!
