Why Diet Coke and Mentos? Why Not Just Any Other Coke?
Just about everyone has seen the result when you put Mentos into an open bottle of Diet Coke, but I have never seen anyone do classic Coca Cola and Mentos, or C2 and Mentos, or any other coke product besides Diet Coke. How does Diet Coke differ from all the other soda drinks?

Diet coke has less sugar, so apperently it works better
I seriosly don't know-
i've tried regular coke, pepsi, dr. pibb, and I think root beer, and It has all worked for me!

Maybe its because it contains more citric acid and artificial sweetners that regular Coke. Im just guessing though. Sorry I cant help much!

Because It has Aspartame.Which you can lose the feeling in your fingers!
