it was like brie (white rind) but very runny. it had a barnyardy smell but good flavor

It depend were you ate it, Roquefort is sheeps milk, some feta in certain countrys, in France it could have been any number of cheeses, if like camembert and runny, there are sheeps milk kinds, but it could also have been Valceron, or a country cheese.
