What's a quick and easy snack that fills you up?!

Question:

What's a quick and easy snack that fills you up?

I have very little food and I'm hungry, i don't want to make a humongous meal but i still want to eat...looking for something simple but NOT obvious (mac & cheese or spaghetti)

Answers:
Eating a handful of a variety of nuts...almonds, peanuts, cashews, etc. with raisins and pretzels is a filling and healthy snack.

Your favorite lunch meat or chicken salad wrapped in a tortilla shell.

Scrambled egg burrito with cheese, onions, gr. peppers etc. whatever you like.

Cheese and crackers and some fruit.

styrofoam peanuts

Cottage cheese.

Grilled cheese sandwich or nachos.

peanut butter crackers...

popcorn and milk

slimfast shakes

meal replacement bars, you can buy them at ballys, they're actually really good

eat the heaviest pasta you can get your hand on.

Have some soup, or an apple with peanut butter on it. The liquid-ness of the soup will be filling, and the fiber and protein in the apple with peanut butter will help keep you fuller longer!

=]

hotpockets, leanpockets, frozen sandwiches.

just a filling snack?

if you have vegies and ranch dressing and mayo:

cut up vegies into teeny tiny pieces.

mix with a tad bit of mayo and some ranch dressing. put on crackers. yum.

try something substantial like spaghetti with meet balls or peanut butter and jelly sand which on wheat bread :)

Popcorn

pretzels with cheese dip or
peanut butter and toast
almost no work and filling

apple wedges with peanut butter on them taste good and health too

Well! Baby carrots works for me, its a snack and fills me up, without putting extra pounds.

Roll up a piece of turkey/ham and a slice of cheese and microwave it,

make a quick fruit salad with nuts. it'll keep you full longer and the nuts will give you energy. also, take a cracker, spread margarine on it and top with cheese. it rly is delicous...trust me
or you can warm up any chocolate chip cookie- chips ahoy, mrs fields...anything. any cookie tastes good warmed up

it depends on what you have left in your kitchen though. i can't tell you to go eat crackers if you dont have any at home.

but if you have bread, try toasting it twice so it's crunchy. put a bit of butter & sugar in a bowl and heat it up (around 10 seconds or until the butter melts). spread it on top of your bread and enjoy.

if you want you can try buying these crackers called "chicken in a biskit" at the store...they taste good, they're cheap, filling and addicting!!

beer........works for me !

You could make a toasted cheese sandwich and a small salad?? I would give you more options if I new what you have at home.
