What's a good way to clean a BBQ grill without the nasty chemicals?
I have a Weber Propane model if that makes a difference

What we do is let it burn when you first start your fire and get a wire brush and brush it with oil. If you do this each time then it will always be easy to clean.
To clean the grate all you have to use is a pumice stone or a wad of tin foil and hold that with a pair of grilling tongs while the grill is still hot....either way will get all the gunk off of your grates!!
cut a potato in half and rub it across the grill while hot I use my BBQ fork to hold it
Crumble up some aluminum foil and scrub the grill.Then use a paste of one part baking soda and one part water to get the rest of the gunk.
