Personally, I feel that every recipe is actually the same food. What happened is that as people migrated to other lands WAYYYY BAAACK.... they adapted their recipes according to what ingredients they could find in their new homelands. Think about it... What is a taco? It's a cheeseburger. What is a quesadilla? It's a grilled cheese sandwich. And a grilled cheese sandwich is a panini. Enchiladas are a form of lasagne. Fettuccine Alfredo is macaroni and cheese. Etc..That's what I think anyway.
