What does m&m (chocolate candy) stand for?!

Question:

What does m&m (chocolate candy) stand for?

Answers:
Mars and someone else.

The M&M stands for Mars and Murrie. Forrest E. Mars, Sr. was a member of the Mars family that introduced M&Ms in 1941. Murrie is from his associate at the time, Bruce Murrie.

Forrest Mars Sr. and R. Bruce Murrie, to identify their new brand, combined the first initials of their last names: M & M (Mars & Murrie).

I wish they didn't get rid of the white chocolate ones though!

Mars & Murrie - Named after Frank Mars and William Murrie

Melt (in your) Mouth.... haha I don't really know

Mars is one of the names but the second name has been lost in history and is not known.
