What is your opinion on italian sodas?!

Question:

What is your opinion on italian sodas?

are they nice or nasty?

Answers:
I really like them 'cause they're not too sweet.

Love them!

I like them but they are very spice oriented and that is not for everyone. Try it and see. Then you know~

Italy makes sodas?!? I WANT SOME!!!!!

so nice- i don't always like regular sodas because they are way too sweet- a nice italian soda is flavor syrup and seltzer so it is less sugary. much more refreshing

For me it's a novelty of having something Italian, but it's not really that great and it's more expensive than soda. To me it's not really sweet, so any flavor is bland like a sugar free iced tea, but it's not a tea flavor. I hope that makes sense. You should try it though, it's pretty good with the different flavors, but I'm a simple girl and I generally don't like soda. Just gimme a Diet Pepsi.

Well it was NOT like Italian sodas here...I had one in Italy once. It was clear and in a can. I thought it would be something like sprite, but I was so wrong. It was the most discusting drink I have ever had. I was offered it and had to keep slowly sipping on it. That was the worst part of my whole trip. YUCK.

too much sugar

i like them with a little dash of raspberry syrup and sometimes with vanilla...

If you mean actual soda products from Italy, such as Brio, Chinotto or others they are pretty good.

Brio and Chinotto is kind of weird. It is very bitter, but also sweet. It's one of those things that you can't really describe. You will spit it out when you first try it but it grows on you.

The fruit sodas are much better and have real juice. The lemon soda from the Arriata company is like carbonated sweet lemon juice, it is great.

If you mean the italian sodas from second cup or other coffee places which are syrup mixed with carbonated water, those are great too!
