It depends on where you live. In California when you buy a water bottle you pay four cents for a water bottle under twelve ounces and 8 cents for a water bottle over twelve ounces CRV(applies to glass and cans too). When you go to collect your CRV you get five cents for under twelve ounces and ten cents for over twelve ounces.
