How long will Soy Milk last in cooler full of ice?!

Question:

How long will Soy Milk last in cooler full of ice?

I live in a dorm and I bought a foam cooler to keep my milk in for my protein shakes. I do plan on buying a better cooler(a plastic one with insulation).

Answers:
Some soy milk is ok unopened at room temperature, but once it's opened about 1-1.5 weeks max refrigerated. After that it starts to kind of seperate. In a cooler on ice is as good as a fridge if you keep re-icing it ... longer than if you didn't. It's not quite like real milk which grows bacteria quicker. Think about how much you will drink in a week, and buy the size that will not spoil before you use it all.

hmm, I think it lasts about a week if you top the ice up every two days. Also add salt to the ice, keeps it cooler ^^

I don't understand why you wouldn't use a fridge... but, soy milk lasts up to a week the most. You should always buy it frequently, and if you stretch the date, you'll be sorry (It carried a horrid taste, and DOES separate!)
I'm a vegan, and I make sure I always buy it each week!
I hope this helps!
