Cherry pie filling from scratch directions?


Answers:
4 teaspoons flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 can tart cherries
1 cup cherry juice

Mix flour and sugar, add juice and cherries last.
Pour into an unbaked pie shell.

Bake at 325°F for 50 minutes

I'd check out www.allrecipes.com and search for "Cherry pie". There are a ton of great recipes there. All I remember from cooking classes is cherries (pitted), sugar, corn starch or tapioca, water, vanilla, lemon juice...Sorry I'm not more help!

Cherry Pie Filling


2-3 cups 20 min 5 min prep

2 (250 g) jars pitted cherries
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch


In a saucepan, cook cherries in water for 10 minutes. Mix together the sugar and cornstarch; add to cherries. Cook cherry mixture until thickened. Cool slightly before using to fill pie shell or other dessert.
