Do you eat pomegranate (granda)(grenade)?

Answers:
you are correct, sherrylani, it is POMEGRANATE - also known as "chinese apple" or in french "la granade"

and no, i still don't eat it. i don't think it's a popular fruit in the philippines, ot is it?

pomegranate. Yes, I love it. I use a pin to pick the seeds out and eat them. MMM.

YESSA!!!

yep..i really like that. I even used to have a tree at my place...hehehe

it is pomegranade and i like it

We used to call them Chinese apples when I was a kid. Clean the seeds out of the peel and eat them or strain them for the juice. You'll find many a recipe that uses the kernels for salads and cooking.

yeah! they're really good.
but don't swallow the seeds though.

yes, but they stain really bad!

I love them. Saw a neat technique on tv for getting the kernels out of the flesh easier. They pulled the fruit apart, and plunged into sink of water and rubbed, the kernels float to the top of the water.

Not yet but I love to try.
