Can you marinade meat that is already cooked?!

Question:

Can you marinade meat that is already cooked?

Just for taste - if you plan to serve it cold.

Answers:
The meat will already be cooked and so you can't get the flavor "into the meat"... you could flavor it on top with a sauce, gravey or salt and pepper it but you really couldn't marinate it in the traditional sense.

Yes. I don't know how well it would work, you'd just have to try and see. Don't marinade it in anything that can't be eaten uncooked - some marinades say on the bottle that they shouldn't be consumed uncooked. And I wouldn't use anything with raw garlic either!!

Of course not,how can u marinate meat that is already cooked.See if anybody makes barbeque he first have to marinate it then heat.Have u ever heard anybody first heat the meat on fire and when it is cooked u merinate it.No
