Recipe for granola and the muesli you leave in the fridge over night?!

Question:

Recipe for granola and the muesli you leave in the fridge over night?

thank you xx

Answers:
pour 1/2 cup hot water over 1/2 cup muesli. and leave in the fridge overnight. Add a spoonful of your favourite yoghurt, grated apple, fresh blueberries and a spoonful of honey in the morning just before eating

If you mean just basic granola or muesli that has to be refrigerated, it is usually because the ingredients call for wheat germ.

I don't know exactly what you are looking for but if it's a recipe, try these:

Homemade Muesli

BB Apple Cinnamon Granola

Marc's Muesli (this combines milk & ingredients & refrigerates overnight):

Anyway, Hope I helped some!

Not sure if this is what you mean, but I make apple bircher muslei the night before.

Take a couple of spoons of porrige oats, put it in a bowl, pour over a little apple juice (just enough to get them all wet, not so its all liquidy). Leave this in the fridge overnight. In the morning add a spoon of natural yogurt - you can then also add all sorts of fruit to it (banana, strawberries, rasperries etc), and a bit of honey for sweetness if you like. I suppose you could also add nuts, seeds etc for a bit more texture if you wanted.

Dont put raisins in overnight though - it makes it far too sweet and sickly - a mistake I have learnt from!

soak whole porrige oats in apple juice in fridge overnight. in morning, grate apple over it and top with greek natural yogurt and runny honey. add nuts, raisins, sesame seeds, pumpkin and or sunflower seeds before the apple layer to vary taste.

Hi
Just in case you want the "official" information on this subject:

type in :

the URL is: www.about.ch...

click on: Culture ...then Food ....then Birchermueseli .... it gives a recipe, and it has a whole spiel about Dr. Bircher of Switzerland... and how he came about making this recipe and his thoughts about natural foods .... interesting..

MUESLI
3/4 cup rolled oats (per serving)
2tbs wheat germ
fruit of your choice(dried or fresh)
milk/soy milk/rice milk
honey/rice syrup/sweetnlow/equal
nuts/seeds
muesli is one of those things that you make to your liking .
I like chopped apple,1/2 grapes, sunflower seeds and honey with vanilla soy milk.
assemble your dry ingredients in a bowl and add your choice of liquid and sweetener.you need to make it quite wet ,Ive never measured the liquid,i just make sure it,s above the oats in the bowl.
I do this the night before and set it in the fridge.in the morning it will have soaked up the liquid .give it a stir and serve, you might want some more milk or something, depends on how wet you like it.
also if you don't want to wait so long, heat your liquid and let set 1 hour.
yummy stuff muesli.
peace><>
