Crab/Shrimp Raviolis from Costco?!

Question:

Crab/Shrimp Raviolis from Costco?

Someone I work with recommended the crab & shrimp raviolis from Costco as a good dinner idea. I'm not big on seafood, but was assured that they don't taste fishy. For whatever reason, they appeal to me and I think that's what I'll make for dinner this weekend.

This friend of mine puts red sauce on hers. I can't imagine that red sauce and seafood would go well together, and think that I'll go with white sauce with chunks of garlic and whatnot.

Has anyone tried these raviolis? Any suggestions on sauce types? What else might you have with them?

Answers:
While I haven't got the Costco ones (thanks for the tip though!), I've had similar seafood raviolis from Safeway. I either put them in alfredo, or toss them with pesto. There's a crab taste, but it's not "fishy". Try them out, I bet they're great!

i hear they put dog meat in those.

just playin! sounds tasty. white sauce all the way. could be good with the red, though. decisions, decisions....

Here is a recipe for Alfredo Sauce, enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
DIRECTIONS
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in parsley and serve

white or red sauce works with seafood. it really depends on what flavor you want.

i haven't tried those raviolis but i have tried other raviolis from costco and they were quite yummy. i always serve a green or ceasar salad and garlic bread with my pasta.
