Fish for beginners...?!

Question:

Fish for beginners...?

My husband used to eat fish as a child until he choked on a bone one day. He hasn't had fish since. Now that we are married he wants to try eating fish again but hates a strong fishy taste. Can you suggest a fish that has a very light taste to it? I don't want his first fish meal to overpower him with a strong fishy taste.

Answers:
Try tilapia.......little lemon juice and blackening seasoning......bake in oven at 350 for about 10 minutes.....serve with baked potato and salad

I would recommend Sole or Flounder. These are both white fleshed fish with a very mild flavor. A little salt and pepper on both sides and you're ready to go. )Remember, the key to cooking fish is to get your pan smoking hot before adding the oil and fish. Since both of these fish are fairly thin, you won't need to sear them for long before they are done (maybe 2minutes on each side, or until nice golden brown).
