How long can you keep meat refrigerated before you cook it?!

Question:

How long can you keep meat refrigerated before you cook it?

Answers:
If your refrigerator is kept around 35-40 degrees, you can usually keep meat in there for at most a week before you have to cook it. It also helps if the door is not repeatedly opened by the kids looking for drinks or snacks. Best to have a 2nd refrigerator for meat storage.

It depends on the meat, but normally 2 or 3 days. If it goes bad, you will smell it, so make sure it smells ok before cooking.

No more than a few days. Frozen is a whole different story.

not to long cuz then its nasty

Don't keep meat more than a few days but do check the use by date on the package as well. Make sure to use it by that date.

Depends on the use by date on the meat. I would think 2 days
