Chicken help please?!

Question:

Chicken help please?

I'm frying chicken for a potluck tomorrow, but when I store it tonight, it will be soggy tomorrow. I don't have time to fry it in the morning. Even if I did, the steam would set in and it would still be soggy. Does anybody know how to store fried chicken without it being soggy?

Answers:
umm fry it, let it cool, then stick it in the fridge overnight, and in the morning, stick it on a cookie sheet in the oven, spray some oil ontop, and voila! crispy again!

Cooling it before storing in an airtight container helps cut down on the condensation that makes the chicken soggy. You could also try reheating it on a cookie sheet the next day to restore some of the crunchiness. Unfortunately, it never gets quite as crispy as it is right after you make it!

You fry it, don't cover it until it has completely cooled off. Only cover with aluminum foil. It tends to not sweat like the plastic containers do. The next day it will still be crispy

IT GET SOGGY,BUT YOU CAN HEAT IT IN OVEN TILL HOT NAMASTE

All fried foods are meant to be eaten right away- they all get soggy in the fridge. After taking it out of the fridge, pop it under the oven broiler for a few minutes, but it won't be as yummy as it is right out of the pan.

wrap cooked chicken in paper towels then put inside your storing dish. reheat tomorrow in the oven on about 325 covered, then uncover for 10-15 minutes.
