I'm on Atkins and he recommends it a lot for being very nutritious.. doesn it taste like broccoli or some like that:

For all anti-atkins guys:
thanx for your interest.. but you know I did an extensive research on this issue before gettin' into it..

After a life of obesity, I tried every single regimen diet plan and lifestyle.. but nothing worked and I was always anemic constipated without energy and MISERABLE
now following atkins by the book, all my lipid profiles, ALL are normal, have energy like never before, the fat pounds (according to a serious fat percentage analysis done) are shedding and liver and kidney profile are amazingly healthy.. my doctor told me "whatever you're doin, keep doin' it .. you're healthier than me"

no more anemia, and I'm so happy. Numbers don't lie. And very important... I can eat amounts that keep me so satisfied that no one would ever think I'm on a diet or so.. well.. I'm not in a diet, but in a lifestyle that changed my life and is for a lifetime.

Kale is a green, leafy vegetable. It's slightly bitter. It makes good soups, vegetable tarts, and salads.

All vegetables are nutritious. You can't really say one is more nutritious than the other. Kale is very dark green, so has a lot of vitamin A, K, magnesium.

like a plant

i heard...it taste like chicken...lol i'm just kidding...no i heard it's something like a mustard green with a slight of lettuce...now that combo i couldnt say cause each has a distinct taste.

it tastes like ms.seeran

it tastes like turnip greens. very good with salt and red peppers.

It has somewhat of a sharp "bite" to it, but I am a big fan! Cooking it will take some of the sharpness out of it - I put it in soups, saute it with a little garlic and olive oil, add it to different baked dishes. It IS really great for you - loaded! - and you just have to try it! It's yummy!

I have wondered that myself. There are a lot of veggies I have still yet to taste. What a wonderful world!

Please don't be on the Atkins diet. That guy was a kook and didn't know anything about nutrition!
Don't be a sheep! Just because the masses are doing it doesn't mean it's healthy (the masses are still fat and diseased!). Google that **** - anyone who knows anything about nutrition knows it's a TERRIBLE thing to do to your body. Check out some of the stuff people are saying...

There are a lot of myths about Atkins. Read the book and research the program from solid sources before you decide to bash it - including asking at pro-atkins sites for those facts. ;)

I know several doctors who recommend it as a lifestyle change to lose weight, keep it off and improve health.

As for kale, it's part of the cabbage family but sweeter IMO. The stems have a great crunch and are good for dipping or cooked in a stir fry. All of it is good in salads including coleslaw.

I love kale, but that's just me.

Try putting some stuff in with it if you don't like it too much. I don't think you can use butter and salt on the atkins, maybe a little, who knows, but you can always try that or add herbs or spices to give it a little kick.
