HOT Indian pepper........?!

Question:

HOT Indian pepper........?

I bought these awesome peppers at the farmers market last summer off an on throughout the summer. I took the seeds out of one and dried them. I put them away for the winter and I am trying to grow my own this year.
They are a different variety. Sort of a reddish brown color and called a hot indian (something) pepper. I planted several seed in a container and I have been keeping the dirt moist and warm. But it has been about 2 months now and they still havent germinated. Any ideas? I would really like to grow these on my own considering I have only been able to purchase them from one place and havent seen them anywhere else.

The guy who sells them at the farmers market grows them locally so they can grow in this climate. Maybe I might have to give up and keep buying them from him. :-(

What's funny is certain seeds wont grown in just dirt...if those are indian peppers they were imported from india so you'd probably need indian dirt & an indian climate no joke. It's like grapes for wine grown only in california dirt or vadalia onions in georgia or muscadine grapes in louisiana...it's a dirt issue.

hmm im sorry to say i dont think they will go..u should look it up online and see wat kind of environment they need to survive..but good luck.
