Where do I find unsweetened chocolate for brownies?!

Question:

Where do I find unsweetened chocolate for brownies?

In the instructions on how to bake brownies, it says I need 2 ounces of unsweetened chocolate. Where can I get this? Does it come as little chocolate chips or an actual bar? Help please!

It probably comes as a bar. Check the baking section of your grocery store, near the chocolate chips.

Look in the aisle where the flour and such is!

the baking aisle of any supermarket next to the bags of brown sugar and baking soda boxes.

It usually comes as a bar, and is found in the baking goods area of your supermarket. It will say unsweetened chocolate.

You can get it in the baking aisle at your local supermarket. I think it sometimes comes in chips, but I usually see it in bars.

Grocery store in the baking aisle.

IT IS AT ANY GROCERY STORE IN THE BAKING SECTION. IT COMES AS POWDER OR A BAR.

alot of places like target.

unsweetened chocolate most often comes in bars. you'll find it in the aisle that has all the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, etc.

You can usually get squares of it in the aisle with the baking stuff in the grocery store.

the most common form is called Baker's chocolate and it comes in bar form and can be found in the baking isle of the supermarket (usually where the flour and all is located). Another option is cocoa powder (think Hershey's).

Not hard to find and clearly marked. In the baking aisle of your local food store. Yes, they can come in a bar and it would be like a candy bar with bricks. Each brick would be an ounce. Good luck.

I bought mine at albertsons. you can probably find it at any grocery store..

I could only find choco chips, but they work all the same.

,They should sell in most bakery Departments in most large grocery stores, foodland ,safeway , giant eagle, in the bakery Ilse next to regular chocolate

in every grocery store in the baking supplies aisle. It comes in bars usually, but can be in the form of something that looks like a candy bar. I use Giardelli for all my baking that calls for chocolate. The packaging tells you the measurement for baking.

Walmart, or any other supermarket should have it.
