Question: Can you name an Italian recipe that doesn't have pasta or tomato?
Answers:

Veal saltimbocca. Veal scallopine pounded thin and topped with prosciutto, sage, sometimes a slice of soft cheese like taleggio, and usually served with some sort of butter sauce.



Here are some very common dishes/items found in North America:

Italian sausage
Risotto
Shrimp scampi
Garlic bread
Ciabatta
Calamari
Prosciutto

They are all over the place and there are tons of them. :)
