Which is healthier for you 3 large meals or 4 smaller meals each day?!

Question:

Which is healthier for you 3 large meals or 4 smaller meals each day?

I find that I end up eating four smaller meals each day, is this healthy for us to do???

Answers:
Yes, it is very healthy for your metabolism, and you get a good constant supply of energy throughout the day! I do the same thing usually.

4 smaller meals. your body needs energy in your body and having a constant amount of energy is better than depleting your body and then stuffing yourself.

Yes, actually it is recommended. Well 5 or 6 technically...

6 small meals are ideal.
3 "meals" & 3 snacks..keep your blood sugar up & your brain active. Never letting you get overly hunger & then over indulging.

Personally, I think that either one is okay.

They say that several small meals are more healthy than the traditional three meals. I just wonder who exactly are "they". Seems to me that at one time, "they" said the world was flat.
"They" like to say the du jour thing, don't they? The only thing about the du jour thing is that tomorrow there is a new du jour thing.

I suppose it is more important what goes into the body than how many times it goes in. On the cellular level my cells like broccoli, but on my level, I like pizza. My cells are more interested in what makes them stronger; I am more interested in what tastes good. So who do I make happy, my cells or me? Three, four or six times a day?

Depends on what you eat. Obviously, if you eat 4 meals of fast food a day vs. three, it wouldn't matter. They're both bad.

probably the 4 meals is healthier. its better to eat a bigger breakfast and a smaller dinner if eating 3 meals.
