Do all Indian people like the taste of curry?!

Question:

Do all Indian people like the taste of curry?

I was just thinking about that the other day. Is it culturally acceptable to dislike the flavor of curry if you're Indian? It is in every Indian dish I've ever seen. Is it something you can acquire a taste for?

Surprise ,surprise ! Indian cuisine embraces a great many dishes ,not all of them are curries, you don't have to be a die hard curry lover to be truly Indian One more basic fact ,there are curries & curries ,spices & flavours vary greatly & most home cooked curries mix spices according to the dish & what is acceptable to the family .We grown up with curries & i guess will be lost without our favourite type of curry ,but at no stage do we expect non -lovers to bend over backwards to grudgingly accept ,to each his own,the world has cusines to accomodate us all.

Not really. Lots of Indians don't like curries at all and prefer eating their veggies dry.

no. stop being so generalist

Curry is actually very good and indian as well as crabbian people eat it .I actuallt love curry dislike the smell but the tase is great..

Yes. Stereotypes are always true. All Indians eat curry incessantly, sometimes eating four boxes of curry powder in a day. Chinese drink soy sauce by the gallon. Americans eat nothing but Big Macs. And Mexicans eat nothing but beans.

You're totally right to generalize.

Guess most of them but some can't eat it especially the very hot dishes for health reasons.

Im indian, and your expectations of curry is not what we eat. We make many dishes, which are not exactly curry, and depending on what a person likes, they will eat it.

Why are you concerned any way?????
