I thought that all cliff bars were vegan, but someone said that the unsweetened chocolate in the bar was not vegan... but...on the cliff bar label it says there are no ingredients that contain wheat, dairy... so it is completely vegan right? I am just double checking! lol

Are you asking about the Cliff Nectar bars? My favorite is the dark chocolate and walnut. Here are the ingredients:

Ingredients: Organic Dates, Organic Walnuts, Organic Unsweetened Chocolate, Organic Cocoa, Organic Vanilla

In this case it is a 'raw' bar so I assume it is just dark chocolate with nothing added or they would have to disclose that..
I guess it is hard to know 100% unless you made it yourself but I am vegan and eat these all the time and have always felt confident they are vegan.

Check the ingredients label- anything with dairy, eggs, honey, or anything that came from any part of an animal or insect, is not vegan. Hope that helps!

The label says they contain no dairy or eggs. I guess they are vegan or they would have to mention it.

Texaspice 9 is right about the ingredients.

Yes Chocolate is a vegan. Chocolate consumes no meat. But people consume chocolate.

Google the Cliff Bars, read the ingredients. Reading your package is a 1st great defense on not eatting something you don't want or can't eat.
Chocolate is VEGAN, the sweetners do not change that. Dairy added does, all MILK chocolate is not Vegan. Adding milk makes the product creamier, with a milder tatse.
