Goat....It was in soup and very chewy I ate it before I asked what it was...yucky

baby octopus a viet namese friend gave it to me

Raindeer in Norway and rattlesnake in Texas

We had this visiting scholar from Saudi Arabia in my department. Over the winter holidays we had a party, and he made this hot drink that he was calling "coffee" only it wasn't coffee. I think it had cardamom in it. It was a hot drink with steeped spices and had a strange bitter taste. I've never tasted anything like that before.

Oh... I had this wine once that was just awful. I was at this conference in France, and our host gave an outdoor dinner at their home... just like we have BBQs here in the summer. Anyway, one of the guests brought this home made wine, and I had to be polite and drink it, but I could hardly swallow it.

I also had a vietnamese student worker once, who brought in these very weird tasting... awful tasting cookies. I have no idea how to explain what the tasted like.

Cactus.

I had fried crickets when I was in Cambodia for a two weeks vacation. It was scary at first, eating those hoppers, but after trying it, it taste more like chicken.

Calamari - When it's cooked properly taint' bad at all. Cactus also isn't so bad when prepared properly. When I was a baby I ate dog food - I wonder what brand?

Here in South Africa the black people's got a dish with Mopani Worms. At first I said I will never in my life eat a worm, but if you can eat an oyster, why not eat a worm.

It is kinda crunchy, but it's got a nice taste to it.

I've only tried it once before, and I will definitely eat it if it is served again!

Roasted sheep's head... It was cut in half and roasted eyeball side up. Actually, it was really good, eyeball, brains, tongue and all.

Boiled Snails soup, my mom had to cut a hole on the bottom end of the shell so that the boiled water would go in and cook the meat. We put asian ingredients in the pot along with the snails and shells. After the snails are fully boiled and cooked, we used toothpicks to pull out the snail meat from the large open part of the shell. We eat that wiht rice. It was very tasty when i was 5 years old. Now when i see my parents eat them. i dont eat at all. it looks so nasty.

I've ate a chick once! I mean..not when it's out of it's shell yet. We take the eggs and then boil it. Then we crack open the shell and eat the small chick..sometimes if the egg is too old then you'll see small light yellow hair on the chick. I prefer to eat it without the small hair (feathers). So yeah. We eat it with salt and pepper.

curry sauce with bread.

COW BRAINS

i've had chicken intestines before i became veggie. they were descent tasting, to some it tastes great especially if u dip em in a sauce, i dont know how those vendors make them. its cleaned before they cook it.
