Persian meals?!

Question:

Persian meals?

im persian...but i dont know what this is....
can someone explain it to me

kaleh pache

Answers:
Kaleh pache is a sort of morning breakfast stew thing (very traditional, but I find it disgusting) I believe it has all sorts of random cuts of meat, from shoulder to back to tongue to in some cases brain (I'm not 100% sure on the last one). The old folks (or anyone who actually grew up in Iran) probably like it, its definitely an "acquired taste."

I'm persian too!

Kale means Head
Pache means Foot
it's a meal normally eaten in the morning, made from boiling head (the meet on the face),brain, tongue, eyes and feet of sheep and eaten with Cinnamon powder, Lemon juice and traditional SANGAK bread.Although some people do not like the smell (specially women) and it is not very good for health (because of high level of fat) it tastes good (it has high levels of Calcium and Protein too!)and I think trying it is a good experience (as I believe all the food from all around the world are good to be tried ONCE)!!!
