At least one of the ones here in San Diego closed and I haven't heard any talk about them for about a year. They came in and now ?????

I just moved from Ohio to Georgia. Having grown up in Michigan I had never heard of this company. But in Ohio they were all over. I have seen a couple here in Georgia also. I hear their stock exchange stock isn't doing so well in these times. But they are still around.

We still have Krispy Kreme's in Ohio, but you can always go to your nearest grocery store and see if they have them there. That is where I buy mine. I love Krispy Kreme's.

When I was staying in Elk Grove,CA there was one I passed everyday while taking my nephew to school. It's on Laguna Blvd.Next or near a off ramp. they're still located throughout the country. they even sell krispy kreme doughnuts in some supermarkets.
I live in Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley), and mine are closed too. I had one just around the corner, I heard a few days ago that they couldn't maintain the stores anymore, especially in more health conscious areas. You can still but them in grocery store though.
Yes! Krispy Kreme is still around. I'm from the South and I can go to any supermarket and get them. If I can get a ride which is several hours from where I live, I can go to the store out from Charlotte, NC and watch them being made and pick up some to boot.
Krispy Kreme was on the verge of bankruptcy for a few years(probably had something to do with the Atkins Diet) but I heard recently that they are regaining stability. Due to the market being poor for doughnuts everywhere, KK was forced to close many of their stores. Recently, my hometown had our local KK remodeled. The store was closed for about 4 months. Since they have reopened a month ago, they have had more business than they would have in those 4 months. Its that damn supply and demand, Anyway, if my hometown is an indicator, KK should remodel every store and then they would start turning enough of a profit to reopen the stores that have been closed.
