What are your opinions on Safeway supermarkets?!

Question:

What are your opinions on Safeway supermarkets?

especially the good ones

Answers:
Oh the good ones? The good ones are bad. But man, you should see the night manager at the one on my way home, hot hot hot.

Oh and ghetto princess you must be 135 years old, Woolworth hasn't been around since the turn of the LAST century.

safewayus (woolworth) r all **** lol i used 2 work 4 them

Safeway is too expensive. n

I like them....I go there for everything but produce & meat....& their customer service is far better than any other grocery chain.

Not as bad as coles. Coles have too many OOS (Out Of Stocks).

My dad used to work for them until we moved down here. They aren't the greatest, low lighting, guess they are trying to save on the electric bill. Low on # of employees. Getting as bad as Wal-mart. The prices are still high even after using the discount card. Prices are high at Fry's but I can see what I'm looking for there.

They are ok. They are nor anything to write home about, and the values of the goods there are as good /at par with other better supermarkets.
They have been steadily dissapearing as far as i can observe., and there are less and less Safeways in my area.
Why is that?

Safeway supermarkets make it enjoyable for me to shop and do grocery. Yes they cost more, but the quality of their products and their customer service is unparalleled. At least, I get the value for what I pay for. This is just me...

They are named "Vons"here.
alot of thier store brands are labeled "Safeway".
Club card discount on lotsa items.
Everything else is expensive.

I don't have one. We haven't had Safeway here for about 25-30 years.

There is not any in Southern California.

we dont have any
