mama made a crisp pickle and I know it took several days of soaking, I need that recipe


Answers:
CRYSTALLIZED SWEET PICKLES

1 lg. jar sweet pickles or dills
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. salad oil
1 tsp. mixed pickling spices
1 clove chopped garlic

Slice pickles. Add rest of ingredients to pickle juice. Pour over pickles. Allow 4 days to season.
