Question:

Im feeling slightly hungover...?

whats the best thing to have for dinner which wont be too heavy on my stomach

Answers:
all day breakfast and early night sleep

Comfort Food...

toast, a grilled chicken breast dry

well, either vitamin b12 is great with water...to make you feel a bit better...I think that is what I used to take for when I felt like that!
also, a cup of coffee with milk or cream, and say maybe like a piece of bread or crackers or something...try that ,see if that makes you feel a little bit more balanced!

Bland food, nothing spicy or greasy.
First though, you should drink lots of orange juice or gatorade, you are dehydrated and need to replace your electrolytes, which is what is making you feel hungover. The drinks are also a good way to test how your stomach is feeling before you put food in it.

Oh, me too. I've just had a cornish pasty. I'm not sure it's helped much.

dry toast* or crackers.....then perhaps soup*/sandwich.....tis light and not too heavy on your stomach*~
Did you eat anything before you drank?

fresh vegetables and salad, green food will do you good.
best of luck, add an early night hey?

lots of lovely fresh fruit, water and an early night. Rehydrate and replenish the vitamin stocks!

soup is always good, with bread.
or a fry-up?

poptart

A bowl of pasta with broccolli and just a little olive oil, squeeze of lemon, half a garlic clove and black pepper, lots of water, a cup of tea and a good nights sleep!

haha i feel your pain. whatever you feel is comforting. for me its bread. fast food might sopund good but afterwards i always feel like **** so i stay with like healthier food.

A friend of mine, currently a uni student, swears by tomatoes as part of a hangover cure since they help replace lost vitamins and minerals. A few suggestions:

- Grill some halved fresh tomatoes and serve on lightly buttered toast (wholemeal is best!) with black pepper

- Make your own tomato soup- not difficult and will take your mind off the hangover! Chop 1 onion and a couple of garlic cloves, fry until soft, add dried mixed herbs, tomato puree (optional), and 1-2 cans tomatoes. Cook 'til it tastes good, then liquidise in a blender if you can stand the noise or mash it a bit with a spoon or potato masher. Add some chilli powder if you want, maybe some chopped hot dog- style sausages. Comforting, healthy, and worth a try.

- If you're not a tomato fan, try scrambled eggs on toast.

-Keep drinking lots of water-based NON alcoholic drinks. Tea is also good for its diuretic properties. A trick my mate recommends is drinking a pint of water and a cup of tea before going to bed if you come home a bit the worse for wear, as this starts the rehydration process and helps flush the alcohol through your system. Bit late now, but maybe try it next time?

Have just a little bit of rice with curry or chilli.

KFC, it makes you feel sick at first, but after 30 mins you will feel great!!!
Its my ultimate cure!

I know exactly how you feel, I'm not feeling so great myself.
I just bought a big bottle of gatorade, drinking it now. It usually helps a little. Will drink a lot of water today too.

I HAVE to have something spicy, but juicy like a nice curry or a soup with some added Worcestershire sauce. Either that or mashed potatoes with a strong cheese sauce poured over the top and some cooked peas mixed in, sounds disgusting but it is really comforting.
