What can I add to tofu to make it tasty?!

Question:

What can I add to tofu to make it tasty?

Answers:
Think of your favorite tasty meal & add the flavorings (spices, oils, herbs, etc) from that dish to the tofu.

put something over it... something you like to eat...

A big old slice of ham!!!!!

a big fat juice STEAK!

Ok... That was childish if me.

Saute the Tofu in a little Olive oil , Garlic and a hint of Ginger.
When just cooked thru sprinkle with sesame seeds . Add one teaspoon of balsamic vinager and remove from heat.

Throw out the Tofu and eat the container it came in.

Soy sause, what I do(no lie) I eat it raw and put jelly on it.

Add something that you like the taste of.

Coconut milk. Actually just about anything goes with Tofu, it takes the taste of whatever else you are eating.

Low cal salad dressing, lemon juice and a tad of garlic.

Some Vietnamese and a few other Asian restaurants have a way of serving it they call "braised" -- it is pan seared in a little oil, and it tastes amazingly like chicken in a stir fry, when prepared this way, with sauce and seasonings added.

The first time I was served this, I thought they'd accidentally brought me a chicken dish!

Tofu - tasty = oxymoron

Just kidding, but it will adopt flavors of other foods, so try soy sauce, ketchup, sweet & sour sauce, plum sauce, BBQ it with BBQ sauce, add to vegetable broth, marinate in salad dressings .

my dad usually stir fry it with groud beef..with oster dressing

you can put a soy sauce in it. heres a good one. fry the tofu. then put the soy sauce. then put some onion and garlic. the best!!!

I have tomato soup with tofu, or have stir fried noodles and veggies, along with sauce n' soy tofu...

Google it and see what kind of tofu dishes you can make along side your dinner or lunch...

Happy Tofu n' healthy eating, my friend!

Not sure but why eat the stuff if it isn't tasy in the first place?
Sorry, but that makes not sense to me.

Tofu is like a sponge so you can put your favorite sauce on it. You can also sautee it with other veggies, it will absorb the flavor. Basically anything!

Lemongrass, it adds a great new flavor to it.

Tofu sucks! It tastes like a sponge... Do yourself a favor and eat something that actually tastes good by itself, that you do not have to add good flavor to.

add a hint of halopeno spice and a wee bit of nutmeg to bring out the tofu flavours! If you cook it let it sit a bit
to let the spices sink in better! You could also add a bit of soya cheese!

Mmmmm...tofu. It is delicious straight from the package but if you can't get down with that try soy sauce or sauteed in olive oil...

cook it on the grill with oak wood right beside your 20 oz porterhouse, and when its done , see if your dog will eat it , it the dog eats it it's good, otherwise down the diposal it goes.............................

Its quite funny but bbq tofu is tasty. I went to this little Caribbean vegan place (surprisingly there is one) and they have curry, bbq, grilled and roasted tofu. It was all good but the bbq was the best.

i recommend this one:

fried tofu --- cooked until crunchy & golden brown

prepare a dip: soy sauce & vinegar mixed together, then put chopped onions & a squeeze of lemon juice..

really tasty & delicious!

Go to ... PEI WEI restaurant if their is one in your town, order the Tofu & Vegtables the way you like it....Amazing Taste! This is a Smaller, cheaper versio of one of the Best restaurants, PF CHANGS.

Chili. You just add 50 parts Chili to 1 part Tofu and it tastes pretty darned good-----------
