Can you marinate fruits with rum?!

Question:

Can you marinate fruits with rum?

Answers:
of course. cherries would be good with rum. or grapes they get all swelled up with the alcohol.

yes, it is called a rum pot and the longer it sits the better it is!!!

isn't that what a harry buffalo is? I think it is anyways. What you do is , open a watermelon or something put vodka, or rum, or both or whatever and let it soak in over night I think.

You can do anything. Some though will taste horrible. A lot will taste great!

yes I love to cut a small hole in the watermelon and pour the rum in. Sit it in the fridge over night and it taste great the next day. Otherwise any other fruit will do.

Yes. My aunt used to make two fruit salads for all of our family picnics and cookouts. The one for adults was the same as the one for kids, except that it had either rum or brandy added to it. She would make them a day ahead of the picnic to give the flavors a bit of time to develop.
