After the "sell by date" how long are eggs good for???!

Question:

After the "sell by date" how long are eggs good for???

Answers:
you can tell if your eggs are fresh by putting them in water, if they float they are old and not so fresh. other than that I think they are good for two weeks if you keep them refrigerated properly.

two and a half days.

a week i think

i know at easter time..most people use expired eggs for boiling/dying because they peel easier then fresh eggs

They are not. Your disposal will love them after the due date, the shells will sharpen their blades.

The easiest way to check, is fill up a bowl with water and put the eggs in. If they float they are bad. As long as they are refridgerated, they should last for at least 2 weeks past the expiration date. Just float them before cooking.

My eggs have a "sell by" date and a "use by" date printed on them. They are always two weeks apart.

Eggs have an expiration date? ...Uh oh.
