Any ideas for packing a lunch?!

Question:

Any ideas for packing a lunch?

I just got married and my husband works out on the oil rigs away from civilization for about 15 hours a day. I need ideas on what to pack him for breakfast and lunch and maybe a snack or two. We live in Texas and summer gets up to like 120 degrees here so it cant be something that will go bad or taste nasty after too much heat. Different kinds of burritos to make would be helpful too, I only have a handful of ideas and I dont want him to get tired of eating the same thing day after day.
Thanks so much!

To keep food from getting too hot, you could place a bottle of ice in his lunch pack. By the time lunch comes around, the ice will have mostly melted, and he'll have a nice cold drink!

For snacks, I like small handfuls of dried fruit+nut trail mix, the nuts are pretty filling. If you have a Trader Joe's near you, I love their Omega-3 mix - it's a mixture of nuts and cranberries.

Hi, There are some good sandwich ideas in the link below.
Good luck
