What is the difference between shaken and stirr?!

Question:

What is the difference between shaken and stirr?

What exactly is the difference between Shaken and stirr drinks? the taste? the time? or are they both the same

Answers:
shaken drinks are litteraly shaken in a shaker, 99% of your mixed drinks you order at a busy bar will be shaken. Stirred drinks are pretty rare today. Stirring is said to be the best way to mix alcohol as it doesn't "bruise" the alcohol like shaking does. Shaking chills quicker, stirring is mainly to keep something from mixing too much.

shaken means not completely mixed

stirr means completely mixed.

It's all about temperature. Shaking a cocktail thoroughly chills it...stirring it will only cool it down.

When you're doing a drink for presentation, then you'd want to stir it, because shaking them will trap air bubbles and mess up your presentation.
