Are oysters really an aphrodisiac?!

Question:

Are oysters really an aphrodisiac?

Cuz my bf and I ate fried oysters last night, and the action was extra intense (where I had to even stop a few times) and lasted forever. However, we are usually horny little things anyway, so maybe it had nothing to do with the oysters?

Anyone know about this?

Ha ha, thanks everyone. Looks like it was just a great night as usual. Maybe I should give my bf a pat on the back or something :)

iTS ALL IN YOUR HEAD, YOU HORNY LITTLE THING YOU.

No, they are not. However, the power of suggestion is a marvelous thing, so you may have bought into the myth.

not if they make you puke...

LOL, this is just a myth put on earth by the popular tv show "FRIENDS". The only thing that is aphrodisiac in your case is you and your relationship.

It's all in your head. Mental.... If it does "help" though- what the heck!!

There is no evidence that proves conclusively that oysters are an aphrodisiac. If the sex between you and your boyfriend was better than usual after you ate the oysters, it may have been a sort of placebo effect.

Actually, they are, but you would have to eat buckets of them before they would affect you, so, for all _practical_ purposes, they aren't.
